I know Mr. Sherman and his team for more than 10 years now. I have to confess that my immigration case was one of the most difficult and sophisticated cases that may happen for any attorneys. I worked with other attorneys too before and during the last 10 years and by far Mike is the best. His knowledge, professional attitude and kindness are exemplary. Honestly I am always overwhelmed with his passion and kindness to go over and beyond his line of duties for my case which started 10 years ago and now finally all my family and I succeeded to be US citizens, only because of him and his dedication. Mike facilitated my husband's green card processing. Unlike other immigration lawyers we encountered in the past, Mike was always available for updates and questions - whether via email or phone, even on weekends. If he happened to be in court, his assistant replied asap. He gave updates as soon as they came. We felt that he gave our case/petition his full undivided attention. True professional. Efficient. Responsive. Meticulous! So meticulous. I am so happy with Mike and his service. I have my green card exactly 7.5 months after my start date at my job. Now part of that may have been luck with the USCIS but it also certainly has to do with Mike's amazing abilities. He and his office are so efficient with processing of material. I am a physician, I worked with Michael Sherman (Mike), since 2008 till 2013, He worked on my H1B, then it's extension, later new H1B from a different employer, and finally green card for me and my wife. He is always thorough, on top of things, amazingly quick to respond to your questions, very professional and understands your specific needs and expectations. I know more than 60 medical residents who had their H1 documents filed thorough him, all were happy and none of them ever complained about anything. My new employer had a different immigration firm working for them, they were not close to being called efficient or responsive. We made our employer switch to Mike and have no problem ever since. Michael Sherman is the best lawyer I worked with. He handled my green card case until approval very efficiently and surrounded it with his distinguished skills all time. He was very fast in response to any question or concern, he was available immediately to me when I needed any inquiry. We did have trouble with our I-485 application with a previous lawyer which resulted in a one year delay for approval because of mistake of ignorance, I was told about Michael by many colleagues who have their application approved quickly and timely, I did contact him and he saved my case after he highlighted some very crucial points other lawyer did not address. H e gave a timeline for the application approval process which was very accurate. Me and my family would like to acknowledge his distinguished skills which saved our case from impending denial because of the mistake caused by my previous lawyer. Mike is very professional and personal to me - prompt reply, informative and up-to-date answers, proactive guidance, takes note to my personal circumstances, knows my family members by names and regard us all like friends and makes suggestions beyond the case consult requirement. Through Mike, I got my H1b to enter US to work in Jun 2011, and in Aug 2012, we filed the EB2/NIW, case approved in Oct, and we applied for adjustment of status in Nov, and by May 2012 - we got our greencard (ie. 9 months from NIW application to GC!). We (me and my husband) met Mike when my husband was getting his green card processed. He was with amother lawyer before but later found that his file had not been followed up and was referred to Mike by a friend. This came at a juncture when I (a physician)was applying for a residency program at a local hospital and awaiting a H1 visa.
